Together with our partners Amsterdam Conference Centre Beurs van Berlage, Univate and Faber we launch Studio 1903, a new virtual event studio. The studio is located in De Administratiezaal of the Beurs van Berlage. The name of the studio refers to the year in which the Beurs van Berlage opened its doors. The new studio is smaller than the existing Studio Berlage and is designed to completely support organizers of webinars and other virtual events.

The Beurs van Berlage has been a leading event venue for many years and is known for its 5-star service and flexibility. At the beginning of this year, the Beurs van Berlage adapted to the new situation as quickly as possible. Together with the permanent cooperation partners Faber Audiovisuals and Univate, investments were quickly made with regards to hybrid and virtual events. This resulted in the unique Studio Berlage in De Effectenbeurszaal.

About Studio 1903In recent months, the demand for hybrid and virtual events has only increased. That is why a second Virtual Event Studio, Studio 1903, is now being realized in De Administratiezaal of the Beurs van Berlage. The Administratiezaal of the Beurs van Berlage was inaugurated in 1903 by the Vereeniging Voor den Effectenhandel. In 1912 the Stock Exchange got its own building at Beursplein 5, next to the Beurs van Berlage. From that moment on, De Administratiezaal was used for various fairs and meetings, and now virtual events are added to it as well!

Looking ahead

The monumental space is currently being furnished as a virtual event studio with authentic Berlage furniture and professional AV materials. Together with the Beurs van Berlage we are looking forward to receive the first guests in Studio 1903. Director of Sales of the Beurs van Berlage, Evelien van Kessel, is enthusiastic: “Studio 1903 offers many new opportunities for our guests. This studio is smaller and can also be rented for half a day. This ensures that Studio 1903 is relevant for an even larger audience”. Studio 1903 will start its events in early 2021.”
